Our Youth Ministry seeks to help students grow into a deep relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that this happens best when surrounded by a community of believers who will challenge you to develop a deeper faith. Our goal is to offer a variety of environments that are fun and engaging, while also offering healthy and practical teaching. Join us for a time of grounding ourselves in the goodness of God through worship, communion, and learning from the Bible each Sunday morning! Our current sermon series we’re working through is Let Us Pray, a focus on how our prayer lives should not only have more frequency but also a deeper focus and trust in God for ourselves and our churches. Life Group @ 11 AM
A time each week for us to come together, learn about God from His word, and apply what we hear to our own lives. This quarter (Jan.—Mar.) our students are looking at Bearing Fruit—walking according to the Spirit instead of according to the flesh so that we can love God and love others the way we are meant to.
covid-19 updates on youth events
While we are following CDC guidelines for social distancing due to COVID-19, our future events have been canceled or postponed til further notice. We may try some big group events in creative ways in time but for now, take this time at home to focus on reflection, to invest in smaller groups, and to reach out to each other as we trust God through this trying season, Check back as we move forward or contact Dustin Kean at alliancecocym@gmail.com.
Want to get involved? Whether it’s chaperoning a youth trip, baking cupcakes for a fundraiser, helping to teach a class, or mentoring one of our teens, your involvement with our youth group is vital. The success of our youth ministry is heavily connected to the involvement of our volunteers. If you have helped out before in any of these areas or in a different area, thank you so much!
